Lovely location for walking, excellent organic food, great evenings with locals

Metal double-glazed windows with missing plastic clamps allowing drafts!!! Bathroom ceiling damper visible from long-term leaks. Room noise from the bar was distracting, especially at night!!!

Rustic charm enhanced the stay, but the room decor was quite tired.

The breakfast was fresh, with a good choice of food options. It was so close to a quiet Dartmoor pub, the hill where the Dartmoor ponies where, and the Merrivale bronze age hut circles, amazing location overall.

Overall it was reasonably large and immaculate with a view.

Ensure to ask about the water supply before booking, as it can be unreliable at times.

The Small Double Room is cramped with minimal storage. The mattress sagged considerably, which resulted in less than ideal sleep quality. I ended up on the floor for part of the night. The bathroom sink is surprisingly tiny. The window is obstructed by the kitchen hood chimney, cutting off fresh air, and the fireplace appeared neglected with residual cinders.

I had a great time! The steak was perfectly cooked, and the breakfast using local produce was good. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the shower.

The rustic charm of Dartmoor Inn was good. I especially adored the view over the moors. It was like stepping into a painting. The friendliness of the staff.

More seating options in the dining area, please.

The room was super clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very good too ensure we felt welcome. The organic dinner options were a stand-out, and breakfast was generous and flavorful. It would have been helpful to have more self-service options for the breakfast items.

We visited Dartmoor Inn with our four kids and loved the beautiful surroundings. The food was great for both dinner and breakfast. The young waiting staff were attentive. The organic, locally sourced menu is a fantastic touch for families!

My kids wished for more indoor activities to keep them busy .

We enjoyed our short stay, though the double room felt cramped for the price. The staff were cute, and the dining options were good, especially the locally sourced dishes! For a more comfortable experience, make sure to book the larger suites if possible.

The location is stunning, perfect for a day's walking on Dartmoor, with delicious organic food that really impressed us, especially breakfast. The en-suite was quite compact and could use a bit more attention, and it was a bit chilly due to the weather during our stay.

I spent a night in a Small Double Room and appreciated the charm of the inn. The location was perfect for exploring Dartmoor's amazing scenery. Make sure to enjoy a cup of tea by the window, but be cautious with the kettle placement. Ideal for solo adventurers!

The stunning views over the moors made our stay truly special. 🌅 The room was comfortable but the water issue in the morning was a bit inconvenient. Would definitely return!
